Eternal life in the spirit and in the flesh

Is Jesus' promise concerning eternal life spiritual or physical?

Jesus stated that the scriptures cannot be broken (Jn 10:35). Today all believers must base their faith on the Bible. We should not follow the example of the believers in Calvin’s time who surrendered their faith in the Bible when they were pressured by the ruling ecclesiastical authorities of the day. We must overcome just like Stephen the martyr (Acts 7:51-60). Jesus never spoke a single lie, he spoke only the truth (Jn 8:45-55). Just as Jesus did, true believers must hold fast to the word of truth regardless of any persecution we might receive. Like Jesus, we must always speak the truth regardless of our circumstances.

The church teaches the way to the God of Heaven

Religions like Christianity, Buddhism, and Confucianism are similar in that they all attempt to teach the path to heaven. The way to heaven, however, is known only to the one who has been to and come back from heaven. Since the way to heaven is not the way of the world, it is not something that just anyone can know or teach. God sends a messenger in every generation to work on his behalf. A spirit is sent from heaven to earth to teach and lead God’s messenger. Since heaven is where God and God’s kingdom are, believers with their hopes set on heaven must find it no matter where it might be. Can a pastor who has never been to heaven lead anyone else there?

Who are the betrayers, the destroyers, and the savior (i.e. the one who overcomes)?

Do today’s believers know the true identities of the betrayers, destroyers, and the savior, the one who overcomes (2 Thes 2:1-12)?

The prophecies of the NT proclaim these three entities and knowing them is mastering the Bible. Furthermore, knowing the true identities of these three three entities is critical for salvation. No one can claim, “I am already saved,” or “I belong to an orthodox church,” if these three entities have not yet appeared. People who claim to have received the holy spirit without mastering the deep things of heaven (1 Cor 2:10) are liars working to deceive vulnerable people who lack knowledge of the Bible.

Truth and Lies

Truth comes from God and lies come from the devil (Jn 8:41-47).

A pastor from Shinchonji (SCJ) recently participated in a debate with a certain pastor of another church. This pastor’s identity will not be revealed to avoid embarrassing him. The pastor from SCJ had no idea what the topic of the debate would be prior to his arrival. Instead of talking about biblical explanations or testimonies, however, the other pastor brought only slanderous attacks to the discussion table. This was not a respectful discussion between pastors.

Heaven – the kingdom of God

The objective of carrying out a life of faith is to attain heaven and eternity. We know that God, Jesus, and their angels are in heaven, but where is heaven? No one in this world knows the kingdom of heaven except the people of Shinchonji Church of Jesus.

Buddhists shave their heads and try to abandon their worldly lives by going to temples in the mountains. They do not do this because they love visiting temples; they do it to be with Buddha. Similarly, the monks and nuns of Catholicism leave their homes, abandoning their worldly lives, to enter monasteries and convents. They do not do it just to live apart from from the world; they do it to be with God. The question, however, is whether they will find God and Buddha in those places.

The place God the father, the son of God, the holy spirit, and the fulfillment of God’s prophecies can all be found

Hallelujah! Three cheers for Shinchonji, God’s kingdom of the holy spirit!

In the midst of this world of darkness, I have sought out the true light, crying out to the north, south, east, and west. Finally, God has answered my prayers. The place that I was seeking was Shinchonji Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (SCJ).
