Faith
Those who believe in Jesus believe in God's word. Those who persecute others do so because spirits of persecution have entered them. Those who speak the word of God do so because the spirit of the word—the spirit of God—has entered them (Jn 3:31-34, Jn 14:23-24; 1 Jn 4:1-6).
According to the Bible, it was the pastors and elders who held to their traditions who persecuted the messengers God sent generation after generation (Mt 5:10-12, Mt 23:33-34, Mt 27:1-2; Acts 7:51-54). They did this all while claiming to believe deeply in God and to be orthodox. Those who were persecuted, on the other hand, were actually the messengers sent by God in each generation. Who belongs to God: those who persecute or those who are persecuted? Who goes to heaven and who goes to hell? Just like the times of Noah and Lot, we must be careful to choose the path to salvation instead of persecuting others and being destroyed.
Persecutors always begin to persecute when they realize that someone knows something they do not know. When the persecutors see others who can do things they cannot do, their pride is injured and they grow envious. This is how persecution begins.
You, who persecute will starve, while we, who are persecuted, eat and drink our fill. You people are like the darkest night, while we shine as bright as day. You will be cursed and we will be blessed (Mt 25). The devil and his persecutors will soon be thrown into the abyss and punished for eternity (Rv 20:2-3). Today, we who have received persecution together with Jesus because of the word of God will receive the glory of eternal life and inherit the paradise of the kingdom of heaven (Rv 22:1-5).

The Bible clearly says "Love
The Bible clearly says "Love all, even your enemy!"
Therefore, persecutors will be judged by the word of GOD in the Bible.
Amen to that Arnold. Why do
Amen to that Arnold. Why do people persecute Shinchonji? I don't understand why Christians persecute other Christians (???????!!!!!!!!) That upsets me so much. It just makes me realize even more the condition of the churches today.

Amen. The words of God have made a way to this site for me. It is the revealed words that will lead me to the kingdom of God.
its quite clear if we look at
its quite clear if we look at the bible as a mirror, who we are and who we need to be in order to be those who belong to God. those who belong to God have always been the ones who preach his message and are persecuted on behalf of that word, so if anyone who accepts this word is persecuted for their righteousness, we must be glad and rejoice because it only means that we are on Gods side and we are to receive blessings in the future in heaven:)

It completely makes sense! It's so sad that one has to persecute to put other's down, thinking it's the work of God, when it's only revealing one's actions... as that of Satan's.
Just as Jesus commanded, I pray we will all love, forgive and bless one another... ^-^
hmm.. This is absolutely
hmm.. This is absolutely right. I never thought about persecution that way, but its kind of like when a bully tries to push around others because they themselves are insecure and just want to look cool to others. Persecutors are exactly the same way, as mentioned above. Let's rejoice for being the persecuted, not the persecutors! :D
Please examine the scriptures
Please examine the scriptures and follow the True God! Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he? At the first coming, it was the 12 disciples that truly believed in Jesus. 12 out of all of Physical Israel. Then, that is a warning for us today that we must not follow the majority blindly, persecuting whatever we are told to hate. But first, examine the scriptures for yourself and perceive where the True God is.
I love it when people are
I love it when people are straight to the point.
hm.. my pastor says that
hm.. my pastor says that persecution is being ignored or attacked for being a christian in your workplace or school, but because of freedom of religion, no one actually cares much either way. and especially in america, christianity is the biggest religion. so whenever my pastor says that we are persecuted for being christian, i always thought in my head that he was wrong, because the truth is, we DONT get persecuted. according to the bible, however, you must be persecuted to know that youre a true follower of christ, and shinchonji is definitely getting persecuted. this implies something very interesting, and this blog is very clear about what that is..
those born of th earth have
those born of th earth have no choice but to persecute those born of the spirit. Been this way ever since God came to his people, thankfully this is the finality once and for all.
