Changing the world one heart at a time

Shinchonji (The New Heaven and New Earth): The promised kingdom

There are many different denominations and churches in the world today, but many Christians have been leaving their own churches to come to Shinchonji Church of Jesus. Why are people continuing to come to Shinchonji in spite of the persecution and trials they face in doing so?

1. It is because their own churches do not have the word.

Because the theological schools where many pastors are trained do not have the word, the pastors educated there do not have the word. If the pastors do not have the word, it is obvious that their congregation members do not have the word. Our physical thirst can be quenched by drinking physical water. Our spiritual thirst, however, comes from the lack of spiritual water, which is the word of God. In other words, we are spiritually thirsty when we desire to know God’s word. This is why the congregation members of many churches are wandering here and there seeking the word.

2. It is because their own churches have strayed from the commands of Jesus.

Jesus commanded us to love our brothers and our neighbors as ourselves. He told us to forgive and bless others. Ignoring these commands, many churches and their pastors are persecuting and cursing fellow Christians who earnestly desire to follow God’s word. These congregation members are hurt and disappointed when they see these attitudes in their own pastors. Many Christians are coming to Shinchonji for the love, blessings, and hope for the future that can be found among us.

3. It is because Shinchonji Church of Jesus (SCJ) has mastered and is teaching the Bible.

In Shinchonji Church of Jesus, the word is being proclaimed through one pastor who has received the revelation in fulfillment of the prophecies in the Bible. The Bible declares that we must not add anything to or subtract anything from its content. This is why we are proclaiming the content of the Bible—its history, instructions, prophecies, and fulfillment—exactly as they are.

Furthermore, all the congregation members of Shinchonji Church of Jesus have recorded the Bible in their hearts and minds. Is there anyone else in this generation who knows the Bible more than the members of Shinchonji? Anyone who claims to a true child of God must strive to know the Bible, because the Bible contains God’s thoughts, desires, and plans. We must make the effort to become children of God by knowing the Bible.

4. It is because Shinchonji teaches the revealed word (the fulfillment of the New Testament) according to the five W’s and one H.

At the time of the first coming, Jesus testified that he himself was the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament. He also prophesied about the process of his return. Roughly 2,000 years have passed since Jesus died. Today, in a similar way, Shinchonji is accurately testifying about the fulfillment of the New Testament according to the five W’s and one H.

5. It is because Shinchonji is the place where only the wheat—those who have been sealed by the words of the Bible and have passed tests—are allowed to enter.

The proof that all congregation members of Shinchonji have mastered the Bible is that they are sealed by the words of the Bible. If it were only a number (i.e. 144,000) that was meant to be fulfilled, it would have been easy. The churches of the world are obsessed with expanding their influence, their ecclesiastical authority, and congregation size. Unlike the churches of the world, however, Shinchonji strives to help every believer to be born again if he or she is trying to live according to the word. Shinchonji is helping believers be re-born as true children of God—people who have God’s seed. Thus, it should be clear that Shinchonji is the place that fulfills the will of God, not the will of men.
