Faith comes from hearing the word right? Therefore, we know in mat 13 that the devil also planted his evil words amongst God's people. Therefore it only makes sense to dsicern the words of God versus the words of the devil which decieve and destroy. 1 john 4 says to test every spirit to see if the are from God or not. How can one recieve the spirit of God without seeing the fulfillment as promised and not act on it? Revelation talks about deceiving all nations, but if we discerned between what is promised versus what the world says, then clearly we can choose who is who.
no no, it's ourselves who has responsbility to protect own soul. It's very dangerous to make our own God instead of true God. So we need to ask ourselves if we are worshipping the God who I want to believe rather than God who is introduced in the bible. This is why we need knowledge about true God through the bible like the cartoon is saying.
